API Terms of Use
Last updated: 10.01.2026
1. General Provisions
These API Terms of Use (the "API Terms") govern access to and use of the application programming interface of AB-Labz (the "API").
The API is provided as part of the AB-Labz service (the "Service") and is operated by the AB-Labz project team (the "Operator").
By accessing or using the API, the user agrees to these API Terms, as well as the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy of the Service.
2. Purpose of the API
The API is intended to enable:
- automated data ingestion for experiments;
- integration of the Service with external systems;
- automation of analytical and experimentation workflows.
The API is provided as part of a closed beta program and may be modified, limited, or discontinued at any time without prior notice.
3. Access to the API
Access to the API is granted only to authorized users of the Service.
The Operator reserves the right to:
- issue, revoke, or rotate API access credentials;
- limit access to specific endpoints or features;
- suspend or terminate API access at any time.
4. Acceptable Use and Restrictions
The user must not:
- use the API in a manner that creates excessive load on the infrastructure;
- attempt to bypass technical limitations or rate limits;
- access or attempt to access data not intended for the user;
- share API keys or credentials with third parties;
- use the API for unlawful purposes;
- reverse engineer, probe, or attempt to discover internal logic of the Service.
The Operator may impose limits on request rates, data volume, or API usage patterns at its discretion.
5. User Data and Responsibility
The user is solely responsible for:
- the data transmitted to the Service via the API;
- ensuring that such data is lawfully collected and processed;
- compliance with applicable data protection and privacy laws.
The Operator does not validate data submitted via the API for legal compliance.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The API is provided on an "as is" basis.
The Operator makes no warranties regarding:
- uninterrupted or error-free operation of the API;
- compatibility with the user's systems or software;
- accuracy, reliability, or integrity of data transmitted through the API.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Operator shall not be liable for:
- any damages or losses resulting from the use or inability to use the API;
- failures, errors, or data loss related to API integrations;
- consequences of improper or excessive API usage.
In all cases, the Operator's liability shall be limited to the minimum extent permitted under applicable law.
8. Changes and Termination
The Operator may at any time:
- modify or deprecate API endpoints;
- change API functionality or limits;
- suspend or permanently terminate access to the API.
Continued use of the API after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated API Terms.
9. Relationship to Other Policies
These API Terms apply in conjunction with the Service's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
In the event of any conflict, the Terms of Service shall prevail.
